How to Use Your Flash Movies
The liquidlibrary® flash movies are produced by our partners at Bigshot Media Inc. If you are a Macintosh® user, please read these instructions carefully to open and edit Bigshot Movies™.

.FLV versus .FLA extension

Flash files that download with an extension of .FLA will work in older versions of Flash such as Flash MX 6.0. Flash files that download with an extension of .FLV will only work with Flash version 8.0 or higher.

SWF Files

Why do the SWF files not open automatically in Flash™?
Bigshot Movies have no resource fork and become automatically associated with QuickTime™.

How can I preview the SWF files?
We suggest that Macintosh users launch the Flash Player and open the SWF from inside the player, or browse to the SWF file and open the Bigshot Movie from inside a Web browser. You may re-publish the FLA to create SWF with a valid Macintosh resource fork.

FLA Files

Why do the FLA files not open automatically in Flash?
Bigshot Movies have no resource fork and become automatically associated with Simple Text™.

How should I open these FLA files?
If you own a copy of Macromedia Flash, we suggest that Macintosh users launch Flash and open the FLA from inside the Authoring Environment. You may re-save the FLA to create a valid Macintosh resource fork.
